From those humble beginnings, NC State University has been competing at the highest level of college athletics for more than a century, as a charter member of both the Southern Conference and, later, the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Originally constructed in 1966, Carter-Finley Stadium has a capacity of 57,583 and is one of the most comfortable venues in all of college football. The Wolfpack, affiliated with the Atlantic Coast Conference, competes against some of the best football teams in the country. With more than 31,000 students, NC State University offers more than 100 majors and programs.
